Dutch gamer beats real drivers

A Dutch victory at the CES in Las Vegas.

The erace was held at luxury hotel The Venetian. House and nine other gamers took on twenty real riders from Formula E class electric racing cars. It was the first time that gamers and drivers raced against each other.

They all sat in simulators and driving on a virtual circuit through the streets of Las Vegas, along all casinos. House started from pole position but dropped after the pitstops to second place. He came second across the finish line, but still won after a penalty for winner Olli Pahkala from Finland. He had a software error more power than is actually possible. Pahkala finished third, behind House and Swedish driver Felix Rosenqvist.

The simulator race was held simultaneously with the techbeurs CES in Las Vegas.
