Christian family shot in Pakistan

Four members of a Christian family were shot in the southwest of Pakistan.

Because of the shooting in provincial capital Quetta (Baluchistan), a woman was injured. Her father and three other family members were killed. 'It was a terrorist act,' said a police officer against Reuters news agency. He expressed the suspicion that the attackers had specifically targeted the family members.

The Christian minority in Pakistan is more often the target of attacks. For example, two suicide bombers attacked a church in the southwest of the country at the end of last year. Ten people were killed, dozens of others were injured. Terrorist organization Islamic State said to be responsible for that attack.
