Another 150 stranded Dutch settled on Madeira

Half of the Madeira stranded Dutch people have returned to Dutch soil.

The 150 travelers who booked their holiday via Corendon are still on the Portuguese island on the coast of Morocco. 'Normally we can get a plane somewhere, these months are impossible,' says a spokesman. 'We have been looking for when we have space in our fleet and the weather conditions are such that we can land safely. Unfortunately, it's only tonight. '

On Tuesday night, about 150 TUI passengers returned. They were taken by boat to the nearby island of Porto Santo, where they flew to Schiphol.
