1.5-year cell for 55 seconds focusing on police helicopter

A judge in Berlin sentenced a 22-year-old man to a year and a half cell because he blinded the pilot of a helicopter with a laser pen.

It was a police helicopter who made riots during a demonstration of left-wing groups. The convicted man directed the pen on the heli to prevent the police from taking pictures. The judge ruled that the man knew that he could cause eye injury to the occupants and there was a danger that the helicopter would crash.

The 30-year-old pilot demonstrated that the occupants had to set up fast-paced nuts for night vision to prevent them from getting worse. The perpetrator was found because the video camera mounted on the device.
