- At least sixteen people have been killed Wednesday by a shooting in the Libyan city of Benghazi. According to a statement of the army the deaths occurred during a heavy battle between the official armed forces and extremists of Islamic State.
In the northeastern city of Benghazi are already more than a year battles. It is the second city in the country. Libya now has two rival governments, one in the east not far from Benghazi and the capital Tripoli. In addition, Libya has still all kinds of armed factions.
