Trump asks for supreme court judge against FBI

World August 30, 2018 06:00

washington - President Donald Trump has asked the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court to instruct the lower judge in charge of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) to question FBI and Ministry of Justice staff about their use of a so-called Russia file.

In a message on Twitter, Trump pointed his arrows at a ministry official, Bruce Ohr, who is associated with a file on the possible links between the Trump and Russia election campaign. That file was compiled by former British secret agent Christopher Steele.

'Ohr has the FBI said that it (the fake file) was not true', wrote Trump in one of the messages. 'The chief judge is the boss of the FISC court. He must instruct the judge in question to hold a hearing and convene all those people from the ministry and the FBI. If that judge finds that crimes have been committed, and there are, then she has to prosecute. '
