Stranded Dutch people Curaçao almost at home

TUI's travelers would initially return to the Netherlands on Wednesday, but they could not leave the island due to a defect in the aircraft. They were in the meantime housed in a hotel. In these situations, passengers who have been duped are entitled to a delay compensation of 600 euros.

The aircraft had to stay on the ground until a technician had come to Curaçao. Also a new part had to come from England and because of that the delay took longer, according to TUI.
