Sisi and Merkel: cooperation against terror

cairo - Egypt and Germany want to cooperate more closely in their fight against terrorism. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and German Chancellor Angela Merkel have this Friday in a telephone interview agreed with each other.

'Sisi and Merkel condemned the terrorist attacks that took place recently in both countries. This makes it important to cooperate with all peace-loving nations and peoples to bring terrorism to a halt, 'Sisi's office reported in a statement.

The two heads of state also discussed a visit by Merkel to the North African country. That will take place in the first quarter of this year.
