Sailor spent seven months with his cat on the ocean

la reunion - During the Christmas season, a 54-year-old Polish sailor, who has been adrift for seven months, was rescued from the Indian Ocean. According to VTM News, the man was spotted by a sailor near the French island of La Réunion.

The Pole had left seven months earlier from the Comoros, northwest of Madagascar. He planned to sail to Poland. But it was all different because of a broken mast. He drifted to the Indian Ocean via the Maldives, Indonesia and Mauritius. The police are still investigating the reliability of the man's story.

The Pool had no communication tools at its disposal. On board he had provisions for only a month. He survived half a pack of Chinese soup a day and caught some fish on the way. He also had a cat with him on the ship.
