Republican figurehead Boehner in cannabis

- John Boehner, former Republican leader in the House of Representatives, has joined the cannabis business Acreage Holdings.

Cannabis use is still punishable at federal level in the United States. More and more states allow medical or recreational use. Acreage Holdings has permits for cultivation and sales in thirty US states.

A second Republican, Bill Weld (Massachussetts), also joins the seller of marihunana.

Former chief Boehner reports that his thinking about cannabis has changed.
