philadelphia - The pilot who hit the heavily damaged Boeing 737 of Southwest Airlines safely in Philadelpia, gets all the praise for her performance. Tammie Jo Shults (56) remained extremely cool, according to the communication with air traffic control that has been released. 'There is a hole in the plane and someone is sucked out,' Shults says calmly.

Shults, who was on his way from Dallas to New York with 143 passengers, decided on an emergency landing at 10 kilometers after one of the engines exploded and debris destroyed a window. A woman was then sucked out, but could be pulled back inside. The woman later died of her injuries.
