Myanmar opposition on course for victory

rangoon - The National League for Democracy (NLD) leader Aung San Suu Kyi is advisable to book a great victory in the first free elections in Myanmar in 25 years. Of the 54 constituencies have been counted now, the NLD won 49 lower house seats. The House of Commons has 440 seats, of which a quarter is reserved for the military junta.

Also in elections to the regional assemblies NLD seems broad as the largest to come forward. There have been counted 107 constituencies in 97 districts of which was the majority party of the Nobel Laureate.
