cairo - Former President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt has also appealed acquitted of involvement in the deaths of protesters during mass demonstrations against his regime.

Prosecutors accused the 88-year-old Mubarak of having conspired to bring demonstrators killed. That was during the uprising in January and February 2011 that led to the fall of Mubarak's nearly thirty-year reign.

A lower court Mubarak acquitted of the charges, but prosecutors appealed. The highest professional college of the country showed it off Thursday. Early last year confirmed an Egyptian appeals court three years' imprisonment against the former president for corruption.
