Many emotions at the commemoration for the victims in Genoa

genoa - Saturday was a day of national mourning in Italy to commemorate the 43 people who did not survive the bridegroom in Genoa. In the morning a state funeral was held for a number of victims. About 10,000 people attended the memorial service that was held at the port of Genoa.

At the memorial service, applause sounded for the deceased, but also for the emergency services and for the 560 people who lived in houses near or under the bridge and who had become homeless. It was an emotional moment.
