Kosovar gang picked up with cunning tricks

The Kosovar gang was active in parking lots along the AP-7 motorway between the French border and Tarragona. Their area of ​​work includes Barcelona, ​​Blanes, Lloret de Mar and Girona. The thieves often proceeded in the same way. They secretly stuck a tire from a car or caravan leak. Then they pointed out the damage to the drivers. When they were busy switching the tire and not paying attention, they struck. In other cases, they reminded tourists that there was a problem with the car and offered to help. Through years of experience they became very good in their tricks, according to the Catalan police Monday.

The criminals were mainly active in Catalonia during the summer months. When the tourists left, the gang members also went abroad, to stay out of the hands of the Spanish justice.
