Juncker comes up with a proposal: schaf resign clock

berlin - The European Commission wants to get rid of the system of summer and winter time. This Friday the committee is going to make a proposal to abolish the six-monthly resistance of the clock, chairman Jean-Claude Juncker announced in an interview with the German channel ZDF.

'People want it, we do it,' Juncker said. A survey of the commission among Europeans showed earlier this week that a large majority wants the same time throughout the year. According to the respondents, that should be the summer time.

If the committee continues the plan, it is then up to the EU member states and the European Parliament to decide on it.
