'German war boat washed ashore on French coast'

calais - On the French coast near Calais, probably remains of a German submarine from the First World War washed ashore. According to a local guide, it concerns Unterseeboot UC 61.

Guide Vincent Schmitt posted photos of the shipwrecks on Facebook this week. According to him, the submarine was built in 1916 and responsible for disabling hundreds of ships.

The original boat is almost fifty meters long and could shoot torpedoes.
