Five new countries in UN Security Council

- Egypt , Japan , Senegal, Ukraine and Uruguay on Thursday elected for a term of two years in the United Nations Security Council . The general meeting of the national organization chose the countries after the New Year Chad , Chile , Jordan, Lithuania and Nigeria replaced .
Netherlands will also have a seat on the Security Council. The choice of five new Western countries will only be made next year.
