First arrest sexual violence 'Cologne'

amsterdam - The German authorities this weekend for the first person arrested is suspected of having groped anyone from Cologne during the New Year night.

         It is an unnamed 26-year-old asylum seeker from Algeria. He was arrested in a reception center in Kerpen, a half-hour drive west of the cathedral city. The man would have groped a woman and stole her mobile phone.
According to Justice 497 women have registered sexual violence. Until now, 22 people were arrested, all for non-sexual offenses.
