During an arrest in Akron, Ohio, police found a raccoon named Chewy with a crack pipe in the car of 55-year-old Victoria Vidal. The raccoon had apparently acquired the glass pipe, leading to a further search uncovering crack, methamphetamine, and three other drug pipes.

Unusual Encounter

Victoria Vidal faces charges related to drug offenses and driving with an expired license. While Vidal received a fine, Chewy the raccoon emerged unharmed. Possessing a raccoon with proper documentation is legal in Ohio, prompting an investigation into Vidal's ownership rights. The police expressed surprise at the unprecedented situation.

Crack, a highly addictive form of cocaine, is often smoked using a glass pipe and poses serious health risks. The prevalence of crack-related issues is notably high in the United States.
