asthall - Customers complain about a new rule at Jeremy Clarkson's pub, raising criticism and concerns.

Visitors of Jeremy Clarkson's pub in Asthall, Oxfordshire, are voicing complaints over a new rule that has been implemented for the Christmas season. The Farmer's Dog pub, opened in August, has become extremely popular and is constantly fully booked, even for holidays. However, this success comes with a downside.

The new rule dictates that due to the high demand, guests can only stay for one hour at the establishment of the former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson. They will need to eat quickly, as they are served a three-course meal for 40 pounds, or approximately 50 euros.

One customer received a reservation message stating, 'Please note that your table must be available again by 8:30 pm. Check the confirmation email for more information.' 'How can we finish three courses and drinks in an hour?' a customer openly wonders on social media.

Some customers do not see it as a big issue: 'The food there is fantastic. And the best part is that it supports our struggling agricultural sector.' Considering the long queues outside the pub, Clarkson is unlikely to be concerned about the turnout.

GB News also reported that several celebrities have visited, including talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and Australian soap star Natalie Imbruglia. Clarkson allegedly has applied for a permit to expand the pub.

Clarkson is currently famous for his series where he attempts to run a farm in the Cotswolds region of Britain. 'Last year, we wanted to open a restaurant on the farm, but it didn't work out. And pubs, they are all up for sale,' he mentioned previously.
