Demonstrations at memorial revolution Tunisia

tunis - The sixth anniversary of the popular uprising in Tunisia this weekend ended in riots. Demonstrators clashed in several places in the North African country with the police.

The riots come at a sensitive time. Tunisians arrived six years ago rebelled against the regime of Zine el Abidine Ben Ali. He fell, and also had to give way in some other Arab countries dictators.

Tunisia is the only country which was introduced during the Arab Spring democracy. Still alive much dissatisfaction because of unemployment among parts of the population. Especially in rural areas show young people often lack economic opportunities.

As protesting youths in the city of Gafsa against a visit by President Beji Caid Essebsi. They threw stones and blocked the road. According to local residents and local media had to take a different route thereby convoy with the president forced.
