washington - Senators from the American Democratic Party have gone to court to reverse the appointment of the acting Minister of Justice. The members of the opposition party believe that Matthew Whitaker should not just have been appointed to that post.
Whitaker is the temporary successor to Jeff Sessions, who has been fired by President Donald Trump. The three Democrats are now arguing that the new minister has never been approved by the Senate and that they should have done. The Ministry of Justice says that the appointment did indeed follow the rules.
