Deadly attack on checkpoint in Egypt

cairo - In an attack on a checkpoint in Egypt on Monday definitely six people dead, the Egyptian state television reported.

According to the channel, the attack continues.

The attack started at around 20. 15 pm (local time) at Naqb, 70 kilometers from the Kharga oasis, which lies about 600 kilometers south of the capital Cairo.

It was still unclear whether the checkpoint was manned by soldiers or police officers. Also, the identity of the attackers is not yet known.
