Brussels wants Turkey to 117 million fund

valletta - The European Commission wants to establish a fund for refugees to Turkey with a total value of 3 billion euros. The Dutch contribution for that would amount to 117 million euros, according to documents from Brussels.

The EU wants Turkey with a joint plan of action. Turkey needs to include more money in exchange for better guarding the borders with Greece and improve the reception of Syrian refugees so that they do not make the flight to Europe

This proposal was discussed Thursday during a slotted informal talks between EU leaders and-staatshoofden in the Maltese capital Valletta. Vice President of the European Commission Frans Timmermans in recent days in Turkey to discuss migration issues.
