dublin - The Irish police say they have found no evidence that the stabbing Wednesday in the street in Dundalk has anything to do with terrorism. The police announced that Thursday.
An 18-year-old suspect, originally from Egypt, killed a 24-year-old Japanese and later injured two others. He had chosen the victims randomly according to the police. The man is arrested shortly after the incidents.
'At the moment we can not find a clue indicating that this tragedy has something to do with terrorism,' said a spokesman for the police. What the motive of the man has been is not clear.
