Arrests in China because of disaster in Shenzen

shenzen - (Reuters / RTR)- The Chinese authorities have eleven people were arrested for their role in the devastating landslide in the city of Shenzen.

The disaster claimed the government was caused by human error. Safety would not be met.

The death toll from the disaster now stands at twelve. The victims were killed when a mountain of waste in December began to slide after a rainstorm. Also, dozens of buildings were buried. There are still 62 people missing, reported Xinhua news agency late Thursday.

Police have included the vice president and a legal assistant picked up by the company that the waste managed. Supervisors were also beaten in chains. They are suspected of negligence in a serious accident.
