paris - The protests of the Yellow Hesjes turn into total chaos. Reporter Daniel van Dam reports that the atmosphere becomes increasingly grim at the beginning of the evening: 'The security cameras are being pulled off the wall and people are fighting each other.'

'I always have to find a safe place to do my work,' says Van Dam. At the start of Saturday afternoon there are an estimated 31,000 Yellow Hesjes on their feet in France, Secretary of State for Home Affairs Laurent Nuñez said on French TV.
