The number of people dependent in northeastern Nigeria on food aid has almost doubled within a few months.

Meanwhile, 4.5 million people in the Islamic terrorist militia Boko Haram stricken area designated for help. In March were still 2.5 million people, reported the World Food Programme (WFP) on Tuesday.
