Thousands of Gdansk died at funeral death

Thousands of people were present on Saturday at the funeral and commemoration of the stabbed mayor of Gdansk, Pawel Adamowicz (53).

In the St. Mary's Basilica in Gdansk, where the funeral took place, 3500 people were present. Among them many mayors from all over Europe, but also Lech Walesa, former president of Poland and founder of the party of Adamowicz. Thousands of people stood outside the church to express their last honor. In the capital Warsaw, hundreds of people gathered in a square to follow the funeral via a large screen.
