Sprankje hope for baby Charlie

The parents of the terminal sick baby Charlie Gard continue to fight for the chances of their son.

The eleven month old boy suffers from a rare genetic disorder, which makes him unable to move, hear and cry. The parents want to transfer Charlie to an experimental treatment to the United States, but the European Court of Human Rights recently ruled that the London hospitals where Charlie is allowed to stop treatment. The baby would have a lot of pain.

'I hope the judge will give us a chance at a miracle based on these experts,' said the mother. The British family is supported by the Vatican Children's Hospital. American President Trump also offered his help.

The parents have now collected more than one million euros for treatment.\n  \n   \n    \n    \n   \n   \n   \n      \n   \n     The parents already collected over one million euros for an experimental treatment.\n    \n   \n     Photo: AP
