An abandoned ship has rammed the bridge to the international airport of Osaka during typhoon Jebi in Japan.

The typhoon landed on the peninsula of Shikoku in the west of Japan a little after noon local time (5:00 am Dutch time). The storm has completely destroyed public life in a large part of the country. Jebi is one of the heaviest storms this season.
