More pocket money asylum seekers Germany

Asylum seekers in Germany will probably receive a little more pocket money from next year.

Children also get more, says German media Sunday. The new law still has to be approved by parliament.

The German government is legally obliged to regularly adjust the contribution to asylum seekers to economic developments. But not all parties see that. The last increase was three years ago. Opponents see a 'wrong signal to countries of origin' in a higher contribution, so that more migrants come to Germany.
