Miami Zoo evacuates animals

While Irma is heading for Florida, Miami Zoo has been working for some time to put all her animals in safety.

A spokesman told ABC News that they were prepared as well as possible. The zoo performs continuous tests to check whether the zoo's emergency systems continue to do well.

In addition, everything in the park has been put to safety. Loose objects like garbage bins, chairs and tables are all taken in so that they are not diverted by the winds reaching 200 km / h.
