French journalist killed by explosion Mosul

French journalist Stephan Villeneuve died in an American military hospital after being injured earlier this week by an exploding landmine in Mosul.

By the explosion, Iraqi journalist Bakhtiyar Haddad came to death and hit a second French reporter, Véronique Robert, severely injured. Another Frenchman, Samuel Forey, suffered minor injuries.

The French did battle reports in the old center of Mosul. Warriors of the Islamic State terrorist group defend their last bulwark in Iraq in a dash of streets.
