Florida moves prisoners because of Irma

The authorities in Florida have moved prisoners on the islands (Keys) south of the state to the mainland in connection with the arrival of Hurricane Irma.

'It's a difficult job to move so many prisoners so fast,' said sheriff Rick Ramsay. The islands are expected Sunday morning due to the storm's eye which will then head further north and reach the mainland of Florida.

On the islands, about 70,000 people live.
