Driver disaster-limo turns out to be a straight road pirate

The driver who crashed Saturday with a limousine in New York, where twenty people were killed, did not have a valid driver's license.

That is what Governor Andrew Cuomo said, local media reports. The limousine did not go through the check last month and 'could never go on the road'. The vehicle was nevertheless rented for a wedding.

The bride and groom sent, twenty minutes before the crash, a text message to their aunt about the deplorable state of the limo. 'The vehicle turned out to be in a terrible condition,' said Aunt Valerie Abeling to The Washington Post.
