Woman makes an egg fertilizer by dog ​​because of art

- A Slovenian artist has fallen under fire after she has fertilized one of her eggs by her dog for an art project. Thanks to artificial insemination, a Maja Smrekar egg was brought together with her dog Byron's sperm.

The art project is part of a series of works that applaud the relationship between humans and animals. The sperm of the dog, a Scottish border collie, is not viable.

The result is a hybrid cell that, in a dystopian society, should enable a new human species that is very likely to survive. That says Smrekar against Ars Electronica.

The K-9 topology project has received a lot of criticism from people who go too far. It would override the borders between animal rights and ethics.

However, the project fell into prices. Thus it won the prestigious Prix Ars Electronica.
