With an app looking at vegetation on Earth

- Proba-V, in the Belgium-built satellite launched by the European Space Agency in 2013, the vegetation observe anywhere on earth. The collected information is now available to everyone in a special app.

ESA Proba-V app was developed as an interactive system that encourages the use of Earth observation data. It's also a way to promote the observation of the Earth from space as a way to better understand the surrounding environment, says ESA.

The information in the app is linking to images created by users. Images that are submitted can be shared through social media in this way. There are versions for iOS and Android available.
