Will Rosenstein disappear from the White House after story about Trump taps?

World September 24, 2018 17:00

washington - The US Deputy Minister of Justice Rod Rosenstein probably stops today. He would have gone to the White House on Monday morning expecting to be fired by President Trump.

There is still a lack of clarity: some media report that Rosenstein honors himself, and offers his resignation before he is dismissed. Other sources say that he refuses to offer dismissal.

According to the New York Times, Rosenstein said last year that he secretly made recordings of Trump to demonstrate his inadequacy. Rosenstein has denied this message from Friday, but American media are of the opinion that he is leaving on Monday or is being fired.

Rosenstein is the chief of special investigator Robert Mueller at his ministry, who investigates Trump's alleged ties with Russians in the run-up to the American elections.

Trump did not tweet anything about the junior minister on Monday.
