Wife of Disney Suspect Arrested

- The woman who disappeared Thursday when the man she accompanied at Disneyland was arrested with two firearms, was arrested.

The police arrested her in the night from Thursday to Friday in their home in Paris. This was reported by the French television channel BFMTV.

According to the station the pair formed a couple. The man was arrested by police when during an inspection at the New York Hotel at Disneyland Paris with two handguns were found in a suitcase. In his luggage were also found a Koran and ammunition. Justice announced later that man was not registered by the police and security services, and yet was not considered terrorism suspects.

The defendant stated to the police that he had weapons with them because he feared for his safety.
