washington - US Vice President Mike Pence says the White House remains hopeful about a planned summit with North Korea, but the country will under no circumstances make any concessions. The summit is scheduled for June 12th and will mainly focus on the dismantling of North Korean atomic programs.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in is in Washington to talk with President Donald Trump about, among other things, the meeting with North Korea. Pence states that this meeting is not yet fully established: ' We remain open to it, we keep hope. But let me be clear: nothing will change the policy of the United States. No concessions have been made. ''
