london - The House of Lords, the British government passed a new slap on the wrist when it comes to the Brexit legislation. Lords and Ladies of the British Senate want the British Parliament (House of Commons and House of Lords) takes the final decision to leave the EU. Even if there is ultimately no agreement is reached between the United Kingdom and the other 27 EU Member States.

The government takes the view that going it is better to conclude a contract or agreement with a bad 'deal'. In that case, the British Parliament put offside. After all, they may vote on an agreement, but a lack of it takes the British government on its own initiative to leave the EU.

A substantial majority of the Upper House (366-268) finally agreed to a bill by Lord Pannick to prevent this. This makes his amendment outright panic in Downing Street, where the seat of the British prime minister Theresa May.

Chances are significant to the House of Commons, as the next week will vote on the proposed legislative changes, agree with this new power for the House of Commons. Or as the Conservative Lord Michael Heseltine called it, 'here the opposition of Remainers starts against the hard Brexit.

The concession may have major consequences. Nigel Lawson, the former Conservative finance minister and the father of TV chef Nigella, made it clear during his speech in the House of Lords that the chances are that at the end of the negotiation period is not an attractive deal for the British. Indeed, there are too many European countries that could frustrate the negotiation process.

This is the dilemma which signed the following week to allow members of the House of Commons. With this amendment for the British government is difficult to conclude an attractive agreement. After all, has not the stick that simply can walk away from the negotiating table.

But without the amendment is no doubt we are heading towards a tough Brexit which all ties with the EU are broken mercilessly. That's something that can not see are a majority of the House of Commons Members.
