War crimes suspects arrested in Bosnia

sarajevo - Police in Bosnia on Monday three Bosnian Serbs arrested on suspicion of war crimes. One of the three suspects was already nine-year sentence in Scheveningen after being convicted by the ICTY.

Darko Mrdja, Radenko Marinovic and Milan Gavrilovic suspected of the abuse and killing of prisoners between 1992 and 1995 in prison camps in northwest Bosnia. Justice also has a fourth suspect in mind who already stuck for another offense. Thousands of people died during the war in prison camps Omarska and Manjaca.

The ICTY convicted former agent Mrdja in 2004 to seventeen years in prison for his part in a massacre of 150 Bosnian Muslims in 1992. He arrived in 2013 free.
