Vintners along Moselle bottles German tax authorities

- Vintners have been widely highlighted the load on the Mosel in Germany. Which reported the broadcaster SWR Wednesday. Farmers bought cork partly in black and used it for bottles they sold out of sight of the tax.

Six inspectors have discovered almost seventy wineries that these practices did eropna. The German tax authorities was therefore more than 3 million revenue miss. But the tax assumes that this is the tip of the iceberg. It comes to wine growers along the Mosel between Trier and Cochem.

,, For most winemakers the scams had become a business, '' sighed one of the inspectors.
