caracas - Venezuelan security forces have arrested at least five alleged insurgents after heavy firefights in a place outside of Caracas. It would be rebels associated with pilot Oscar Pérez, reported the state television. Last year he fired government buildings from a stolen helicopter.

Pérez remained the authorities for months after the helicopter attack. He made himself heard on Monday during the fighting in El Junquito via dramatic videos on social media. 'We are injured. They kill us, 'said the rebel, whose face was covered in blood.

Pérez seemed to wear a bulletproof vest while he stooped in a building. Shots could be heard in the background. The pilot claimed to be surrounded in a movie and to be bombarded by the authorities with grenade launchers. The state television reported several deaths and injuries, but nothing has been disclosed about the pilot.
