Venezuela military exercises

- Venezuela holds the largest military exercises Saturday in the country ever. Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López said that this is necessary because the country is threatened. Tuesday President Nicolás Maduro complained that American spy planes violating the airspace of Venezuela. Which American 'AWACS' fly also from the Dutch Curacao, located right next to Venezuela.

According to observers, the exercises are intended mainly to impress the domestic enemies of the Government of Maduro. The oil-rich country is in an unprecedented crisis through mismanagement and drought. There is a shortage of everything and to save energy, the government recently reduced the workweek for officials to two days.
