Vaccination Centre in Pakistan targeted attack

quetta - A suicide bomber plane has killed at least fourteen people were killed in a vaccination center in the Pakistani city of Quetta. The explosion presumably killed twelve policemen who had to offer the vaccination staff safety. About twenty others were injured.


         The bomb struck a police van that had arrived just before the explosion in the building, Pakistani media reported. The two other deaths are an army officer and a civilian.
In the center children are vaccinated against polio. Pakistan has a few days ago launched a major campaign against polio. Approximately 2.4 million children in the country should be vaccinated. In the past, vaccination campaigns regularly the target of attacks. Many Muslims believe that vaccinations are a plot to make Muslims infertile.
