US to send F-22 aircraft to Black Sea

bucharest - Two highly advanced US F-22 warplanes flew Monday to the Black Sea. This is the first time since Washington's military aid to eastern European NATO allies reinforced after complaints about Russian aggression.

President Barack Obama promised in 2014 to strengthen the defense of the Eastern European NATO countries. This happened after the annexation of the Crimea by Russia and Russian support for pro-Russian rebels in eastern Ukraine.

An American tanker aircraft of the type KC-135 escorted the two F22 aircraft from the UK at the Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base in Romania on the Black Sea.,, We are here today to show our power the F-22's anywhere to put in, '' said squadron commander Daniel Lehoski.

The F-22's are almost impossible to detect on radar and so advanced that the US Congress Lockheed Martin has forbidden them to sell abroad. The US has twelve stationed at a British base in eastern England.
