US Secretary Ben Carson called slaves 'immigrants'
- US Secretary Ben Carson slaves called 'immigrants'. He did in his first speech as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.
Carson also expressed his admiration for immigrants who came to the United States to give their children a good future. 'There were also other immigrants who came here at the bottom of a slave ship. They worked longer and harder for less. '
However, the statements of Carson quickly went viral on social media. His department arrived later with a statement in which he says that no one believes the Minister voluntary immigration equates to slavery.
Ben Carson is the only black minister in the cabinet of President Donald Trump. The former neurosurgeon itself has attempted to be president, but picked up his bags after Super Tuesday.
